I need some marketing tips....

Lately my book sales have dropped and I was looking for some fresh tips to try. Slaes have not been what I hoped for lately. So what seems to work for all of you? I just feel like I am not hitting the right market. Any tips?

Have you considered starting a newsletter related to your book that would qualify you in some sense as an "expert" in your field? I took this tip from Angela Hoy nearly four years ago with DNA Monthly as I began publicizing my book Conscious Healing, and this has been probably the most effective single marketing strategy for me. Admittedly, it probably works better for nonfiction. :-) Good luck!

Another suggestion is writing articles at ezinearticles.com (or any other article site,ehow.com, etc.) to establish yourself as an expert on your topic and to gather a readership.

Commenting on blogs on your topic as well as those of interest increase your exposure and essentially have people waiting to read what you will say next. Have you sent out a press release lately? Ezinearticles has a free press release feature. You can also 'google' free press release sites.

I too, am looking to increase my book sales and marketing efforts, so I 'feel' for you.
