"The Lucifer Effect"

There is some very signifcant "hero" connections happening at my "Echoes from the Square" site.... Dr Phil Zimbardo (author of "The Lucifer Effect" and probably the author of the textbook for the first psych course taken by anybody in North America) has joined and I am quite excited about it all. His work is about how situations can lead people to evil, or, with the right preparation (teaching/coaching...) the same situations can lead people to heroic deeds. Zimbardo's TED talk (and a short version that I have on my site) gives some of the concept. He joined my Ning site because he believes that the Cellist of Sarajevo (the man portrayed in "Echoes from the Square") is an example of the model for living that he is proposing.

I encourage you all to take look as well. Zimbardo is an amazing resource and we can have access to his ideas through the site.
