Fogo frio, inferno louco.

Garoa gelando os ossos.

Queimando

o fogo, o interno desvairado.

No caldeirão

fervilham bolhas

plásticas de sabão.

Minha língua estala

os dedos ( nos ) os anéis

sujam a pele.

Poluição
alucinante

andante / inerte.

Rodopios

no mesmo eixo

escorregadio.

I want to say Hi! to the group. I use poetry to work out my anger. I also write about astrology and I write fiction, using that as a vehicle for social commentary. Namaste :)

Lavender Sky


Lavender crystals from above illuminates sky
calms the earth grounding souls
reflects thought and meditates spirit
flows over oceans kissing the sun awake
with harmony and peace.

Tranquility soothes hearts with pastel colors
of rainbow third eye opens with renewal
sight of powerful emotions surface of delight
creating brilliant auras of energy
empathic knowledge seen beyond what is.

Travel and faith enlightens true meaning
lavender spirit receiver of vision
intuitive ability with a clearer voice of being
communicates affinity of elevation.

Silent Waters


Silent waters run deep
Beneath emotional reef
Hidden paradise
Treasured in thought
Flows a passionate soul
Below see level
Swimming in self expression
Nonverbally said

Healing waves of love
Surrounds the heart
Beating in rhythmic sound
Steady and strong it pounds
Inner oceans calm
Turbulent feelings into stillness
Drifting sorrows away off to shore

I’ve unpacked boxes of pictures of people we knew,
of lovers with toes buried deep in the sand.
There are some snapshots of us on our honeymoon
laughing and hugging in some far away land.
The smells of dampness and age that arise from these boxes
is a reminder that nearly two years have gone by.
With all the pain and new growth in the time that has passed
I have yet to break down and just cry.
At first the thought of losing your love
left me feeling both shattered and numb,
you never communicated a hint of disturbance
so I was left asking myself…”just how come?”
The heart that once beat inside of my body
now resembled a jigsaw puzzle at best.
Returning each day to a dark empty house
became unbearable for this lone bird in a nest.
You’ve had many lovers since you left home
and methinx quite a few before leaving.
That you slept by my side night after night
demonstrates your talent in the art of deceiving.
Relationships, like the framed pictures one packs,
at times start feeling like they’re boxed in.
The emotions that once used to flow like spring water
slow to a trickle and run a bit thin.
Though I’ve forgiven you now and my heart pumps anew
a fog-like sadness still lingers inside,
and I’m left holding photos of ghosts that I knew
wondering what might have happened if you had just tried.

I see happy loving people
every place I go.
I watch the frustrated tired masses
in commute lines off to make their dough.
This life we live is a giant stage
and its the biggest bestest show,
but many play their tired roles
as if they didn’t know.
I call my lady “Lover” while
another man calls his woman “Ho”.
Upon every path I cross
a smile I will bestow.
I watch as nice deeds do take root
and marvel as the chain of smiles grow.
Approach each new day as if it was
a field of freshly fallen snow.
Make your footsteps be known for kindness
everywhere your footsteps flow.
