Currently working on publishing my first ms and have just recently organization for the second has come through loud and clear, so getting it all down and staying open to the best place to begin...
In the meantime, submitting short stories of my writings over the past five years monthly to various journals and contests.
What excites me most about writing is tapping into the collective and deeper unconscious and conveying the depth of my emotional, dream and sensual scapes into the expressive writing..

Also just received Natalie Goldberg's book on writing Memoir...good coincidence to assist me in inspiring a new writing friend/student struggling with his memoir writing.
Absolutely love Leslie Marmon Silko whom I finally met last summer at the Ghost Ranch in NM..she talked about her paintings of the blue beings and her writing...Turquoise Shelf is to be out sometime soon...
Finished reading Doris Lessing's latest book, The Cleft......very powerful, mystic and revealing about how it does appear to be in our DNA this quandry between clefts and squirts....how to truly commune and love each other from a oneness instead if the ancient history of our murderous hate just because our genitalia are different...actually the cleft could impregnate themselves before the appearance of the first squirt baby....
Sue Miller's books the Senator's Wife and Lost in the Forest, both profoundly influencing my own depth of writing..
QUESTION: is there really such a thing as an unconscious artist?
For me, acting on the impulse to create and express what is not conscious and to reveal it or express something is an attempt to be more conscious...
Just so weary of polarities lately...enjoying and living more along the middle ground of it all and this feels very good to me heart body and soul....

I was so very intrigued by your "questions" statement -- mostly the part about polarities. I am currently awaiting the fall arrival of The Magic Happens publication where I have submitted a piece that conveys a bit about polarities and rising above these inevitable polarities of are existence to transcend the judgment of these, thus allowing ourselves the freedom of embracing life in our greatest capacity! (That sort of sums it up, but I can't wait for the arrival of the next edition, as I have a few more works involved, as well -- I'll let you know when it comes out!)

Thanks for the nice note. I'm not working on anything right now except getting my other six books published and a new edition of my seventh book (including a new cover) on the market. I have about nineteen books that I want to start on but I'm holding off a little longer. Also I'm reading two novels that I promised to read. That makes it hard to write!
