If you're pressed for time and not able to read my blog today or tomorrow or the day after, not a problem. I cherish my association with you, irrespective of whether you get the time to read my blog or not. It was because you'd indicated an interest to read my writing that I directed you to my blog. If you're unable to find time in the near future, no issues. You can read it at your pace and lesisure sometime later in the future. We could, however, continue interacting irrespective. I cherish your friendship and find your ideas very interesting.
Cheers,
Sheetal

STDwallah refers to the guy who operates the STD-phone booth. Its the phone booth where people pay to make inter-city phone calls in our country. STD stands for Standard Trunk Dialling - I'm sure you know that but since I was explaining everything, I thought I might as well substantiate that as well.
chana jor garam means roasted peanuts sold in a paper cone
khaali means only, so khaali two rupees, implies for only two rupees. Rupees is our currency.
So glad to know that you're flexible and ready to adapt. So am I. I also have had to face so many different and challenging situations since my childhood, and so I'm willing to experiment and am quite flexible as well. I think that these traits that we share will enable us in building our friendship, coz flexibility and being unafraid of change mutually shared by two people enhances their compatibility quotient, or so I believe.
You are right - the written word can be a very potent tool. Yes I would love for you to check out my writing. I will post the link to my blog. The blog posts are in English, with 5-6 random words in Hindi for the authentic flavor - sometimes when you live in a place and are describing the experiences of that place you need to add in a few words of the local language for the authentic flavor. They are not many in number, but very very few and the meaning of those words falls into place while you read the article. However to reinforce the clarity, I'm listing out the meanings of those words below so that you can enjoy reading the write-up a lot more than if you don't know the meanings. Here goes :
coffewallah means the guy who sells coffee on the streets
paanwallah means the guy who sells the betel leaves mixture on the street corner
taxiwallah means the guy who drives the cab/taxi or the cabbie
hostel bai means the house-maid who cleans the hostel rooms and the bathrooms
John bhai is a polite way of addressing John - just about any chap who can be spotted strolling outside on the streets
Mumbaikar is the average resident of the city of Mumbai
maukas means opportunities, so when I say mocha maukas, it implies opportunities for friends to get together over a cup of mocha
ghar ki adrak walli chai means homemade ginger tea
Don't get overwhelmed by these words. Over here clubbed together, they may seem a bit strange but they will not even bother you when you read the articles, coz the articles are 99.999 % in English, with a word or two in Hindi randomly thrown in occasionally, just for the real flavor. Go enjoy. HERE is the link :

It feels like freedom to me!
I was just checking out the shots of your paintings and on closer examination I realized that they are fluid in character - one color blends smoothly into the other, conveying a sense of fluidity and eventuality, which represents on a deeper level - the ongoing process of life, so to speak, and thats what hit me in all your paintings. And they say that art reflects the personality/thinking of the artist - then I reckon the fluid strokes of your brush reflect your inherent ability to adapt yourself to different situations. You are a flexible person I reckon with an expansive world view and open to experimentation. Tell me - am I right or wrong ?
Kind Regards,
Sheetal

I'm so glad to see your revert - I was hoping that you respond and you did. Thanks for liking my ideas, I really appreciate your comments. Yes when I'm writing time does seem to fly past and I enter another zone altogether. So you experience the same feelings while painting. Thats nice to know and I can so relate to it. I reckon that the reason we experience the same feelings of entering another zone on another plane, is beacuse we're both creatively inclined and engaging in our creative activities allows us a medium of free expression, which in turn, induces the state of flow. I was just checking out the photos on your page - are these shots of your paintings ? They're so beautiful and evokative. Yes, I also would love to speak more with you and interact with you on as many topics as possible. Its so nice to be able to connect with someone who's like-minded.
Cheers,
Sheetal
